My name is Hannah and I am obsessed with food. I have worked as a private chef for the last 7 years in luxury ski chalets and private residences in France, Europe and the UK. I specialise in finding the most beautiful local and seasonal produce , preparing it artfully and plating it elegantly for my guests. With 15+ years experience in the hospitality industry, and a love for design and travel, I always strive to make my guests’ holidays an unforgettable experience.

Private Chef
Val d'Isere, French Alps and beyond
As a freelance private chef I work for clients during their holidays in ski chalets in the Alps. I live in Val d'Isère during the winter season so I most regularly work in Val d'Isère and Tignes, though travel to clients with chalets in other resorts, such as St Moritz, Verbier and Courchevel.
Having worked in Val d'Isere for 8 seasons, I know the resort very well and know where to find the very best produce, locally made cheeses, wines etc
During my clients holiday I usually cook breakfast, afternoon tea and a 3 course dinner, though this is adjusted to suit clients requirements.
I am very adaptable, calm, clean and organised and always strive to make my clients holidays unforgettable.

Each summer I base myself in Aix en Provence in the south of France, and work as a private chef for clients with residences or holiday homes all over France, Europe and the UK.
I specialise in finding the very best local and seasonal produce and preparing it for my clients, creating delicious and elegant plates to show case this produce.
Each client has different needs and requirements , while each property is vastly different too. I regularly cook for clients with particular dietary requirements including vegan, gluten free, pescatarian, or garlic & onion free diets, Kosher etc

For 6 winter seasons I worked as a private chef in luxury ski chalets, cooking breakfast, afternoon tea and a 4 course dinner. I also shopped for the freshest local and seasonal produce, managed the chalet budget, maintained very high cleaning standards and hosted our guests in a warm and professional manner.
I was also in charge of training our 60+ resort staff on cleaning, hosting, chalet operations, organisation, efficiency, menu planning for chefs and platting their dishes during the month long training program run at the start of each winter.
